With a few hours left in voting, this is on track to be a personal best. After almost 1500 entries, I did not think I would achieve another personal best. This was shot at Crown Fountain. A smarter, better prepared photographer would have set something like this up. I just camped out hoping for a good moment to catch.

This one's just beyond belief, so perfectly seen and realized. I like to think you happened upon the scene and captured this shot on the fly, but I'm pretty sure you carefully planned and staged the whole thing. Either way, it's utterly spot-on. At one point I was wishing you'd cropped it to be perfectly symmetrical, but I began to realize the old tire in the foreground adds an unexpected and "grounding" element to the composition.
