i'm in 52Frames and they had a challenge this week "wide aperture" .. i usually use my olympus mirrorless for just about everything .. but got out the canon + 50mm f1.2mm for the wide aperture .. which i'm thinking of selling btw .. with other canon lenses ..
how opportune that i went into the bush with tod .. and his harness and the greenery worked perfectly for this complementary colours challenge too ..
if canon dslr was as light and small as the olympus .. i never would have changed .. i reckon i'm not alone in that .. :(
after rollover ..
I love this picture of mr tod .. and i’m sure you dont need equal parts of each colour to satisfy a complementary colours challenge … so i felt a pop of red in a mostly green background would be absolutely fine ..
but when it started getting low votes it affected my opinion of the photo .. and i saw it in a more negative light .. so it just goes to show how some of us can be so affected by the opinions of others ..
of course i’d love to know why the photo didnt work for many ppl .. how else do we learn .. we learn when ppl tell us why they have given a particular vote .. :) |
