We just had a winter storm in Ontario but no interesting photos emerged from that. Just a lot of snow on the front element of my lens :). Saturday was better. Was snowing softly, everything fresh. Went to the backfield and setup my camera on a tripod, with a flash and reflector. I wanted to make sure I was exposed properly, so that I wouldn’t have to fix in post. I’m waiting on a receiver to be delivered so couldn’t go off camera. Instead I had to bounce the light via the reflector. Took a bunch of different pics; I also did some with an umbrella. I liked this one the best - angle of the shovel, body position/language, snow flakes, etc…. I think there is a story to be had here. If I were to do it again I would have walked a few more steps forward to include additional footprints and add to the scale of what needs to be done to shovel this out :)
