congratulations on your blue ribbon! For me, what was so ‘painter like’ about this is the placement of the birds, it almost doesn’t seem possible any other way. Lovely.
This is lovely, very subtle. However would have loved if it was more vivid. Impressionism lends itself to strong bright colours, this one fails the mark somewhat.
