 A broken pencil on a black t-shirt... Increased contrast to take out fabric texture, adjusted hue for color, sharpened, cloned out some spots in the background and used the blur tool on some spots in the background

This was a very poorly thought out shot. I don't know what I was thinking, other than I wanted to rush something into the challenge. My worst shot in awhile.

I think I would have tried a background without texture, and not have the break as centered.
