My apologies. I believe I have misidentified this bird properly. As far as I can tell, as I am no bird expert, I think this is a southern mockingbird. If anyone can clarify that I would appreciate it!

Are you sure it's a catbird? It doesn't have the dark stripe on the head or the darker tail? And the wings don't look right...? Nice catch, though! (voting later. Just browsing.) -7-
My fave in the challenge. Crisp stop-action with a pleasing OOF background. I might have cropped to put the bird on the lower left rule of thirds intersection, just to give him more space to fly into, but then I rarely go for centered compositions. Personal quirk.
