i would never have thought to submit this in a puzzle macro challenge, but it seems like it would have been a good option.

I find this image hard to score. I have no idea what I'm looking at. But the image words on several levels. One is the rule of thirds, with the larger light portion at the leftmost 1/3 border, making a swoosh along the lower 1/3 border, and nothing detracts the eye from this subject. I also think the monochrome effect works well for this image.
