This is the flower I photographed for the Red challenge. It had seen better days at this point but I love a flower that's past it's prime. So much character. :)

I love this - it makes you stop and reflect on it. For me, I think a bit more breathing room at the top above the stem would have been nice. Still gorgeous though.
