Thank you all.
I almost didn't enter this after entering the other one with the egrets.
Personally I prefer this one, clearly the voters didn't, or there was a bit of "oh, another one like this" fatigue.
The BG is the same location as the previous, just a different time.
I love that beach and the mountain in the background is one of the iconic mountains and mountain passes in South Africa called "Chapman's Peak".

many congratulations Gaby on the ribbon for such a stunning image ..
i cant imagine 'oh another one' fatigue with just two images .. as they are actually quite different .
i absolutely loved the birds in the other one .. they are imprinted in my brain .. with their legs flowing behind them .. dancing in the air ..
this is beautiful as well .. what a beautiful piece of art you have created ..:)
and thankyou for your comment on my bird on the jacaranda ... it is weird as they should flower here in australia in october to november as well .. after your comment i checked .. and couldnt find anything that talked about them flowering in late december/early january .. we've had the second highest rainful in history this summer .. maybe that had something to do with it .. :)
beautiful .. loving your soft pastel tones .
those seagulls seem to have reached heaven ..
sorry .. i didnt realize this was rolling over today otherwise i would have voted .. less than 10 minutes and i cant vote on over 60 photos in that time ...
you would have got a really good vote .. that may be either good or bad to hear .. !! .. ;)
