We had a small eruption here last summer, so small that it was okay to get pretty close, a 40 min drive from the capital and a 1-3 hour hike. Made a 13 trips up there and got a descent amount of once in a lifetime shots. (not many like that though)

But yes, as funny as it sounds "small" A "normal" eruption around here is about 500 cubic meters of lava per second, this was 15, so I think small is a word we can use ;)
