It's Hubby's hands and my parents. He wrote her love letters during the war.
The Bible is my great grandfather's (whose photograph is featured in my current "Old" challenge entry) and is in a metal-lined, antique, wooden safe box.

Congrats on the yellow, Lydia. Beautifully poignant picture. My Dad wrote love letters to my Mum during the war, too. But she disposed of them when she had to move residences while he was still away. So sad - I can't even imagine the circumstances.
