Fallow deer in the 'Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen'

In this area the fallow deer are not at all shy, you can easily approach them to 30-50ft distance. During the rut (3-4weeks in October) the bucks and does appear in rutting areas which are at the same location every year, and they're easily found by the groaning sound the bucks make. Most action can be seen in the morning when a lot of fighting, trashing of branches, stamping, parading is going on continuously. As a photographer you can keep shooting...

Is this a Sara shot with the awesome lens? Do your dear always have spots? Or is he really a first year guy? -8-
No it's not Sara's, but thanks for the compliment I admire her nature shots. And the lens was a rental, for one day. Indeed awesome, I think I'm in love and I'll have to start saving bucks for it ;-)
They all have spots to more or less extent. This buck is rather light, some are much darker and then the spots are less obvious. I don't think this is a first year guy, their anglers grow larger every year and this one is rather big.
