This used to be my wall. It fronts the original house that my husband and I built and lived in for 20+ years. The lavender is a newcomer, growing out of a hole that didn't used to be there.

BIG smile from me... I know from stone walls as we also had one in front of our house where we lived for 35 years. It had plenty of holes and a plethera of weeds but, sadly, no lavender.
