Very nice image Wendy, congrats on your ribbon! For me, for this particular challenge, it lacked depth a little bit. I myself was searching for a shot that communicates a huge depth of field. I know that sky is vast and limitless, it's just my visual impression that here it repesents a nice (but somewhat flat) background for the birds.
I agree with you, actually. I just didn't have anything else that began to fit it. It was only when I saw that the birds were so far away, and yet so clear, that I thought that it might work for the challenge. I was quite surprised at the outcome!
