Williamsburg is a small town. There's a theater (movie) area that has a little bit of life, and there's a street or two with some life. This is DOG Street in Colonial Williamsburg. Though it's the historic area, it closes in the evening. But in the summertime, the taverns and eating establishments stay open. In the past, they've been open later at night, and I was hoping to get photos of people eating by candlelight. Even if there weren't good opportunities for that, there would be people strolling the streets. But it was almost completely empty. No taverns were open at 9:20pm, only a handful of visitors, and even fewer Williamsonians (is that a word?) It was really sadly empty.
Thanks for the comments
