An intimate glimpse of a cozy room, lit by the sun peeking in. The casual assemblage fits together like a complex jigsaw puzzle, especially color-wise. The computer screen, in my opinion, is jarring. On the other hand, though, I love the red, trapezoidal lampshade, which might also be seen as jarring. It's a soft brightness, and it beautifully lights the painting behind it. The view out the left hand window opens the scene up, partner to the sun-filled window. Captivating. Also, nice title. |
