I'll probably lose some points, because there is not much yellow in there, and the yellow is not the main subject. But there is still yellow, and it's still a nice picture. Maybe I should have called it something like, "The Yellow Between The Beak And Eye Is The Subject." Then the yellow would be the subject. But that's cheesy.

I think this could have used a run through neat image to clean up the noise in the sky, but other than that, lovely crisp shot. Great use of yellow without overwhelming us with it. 8. Good luck.
What a beautiful and elegant shot. Simple is great. isn't it? I think small amount of yellow can make itself dominant, too. if you can make yellow brighter, it would be real dominant. Good job!
Great entry for Yellow...You are automatically pulled into his eyes and as the details of the contest state, "The color yellow must lead to the impact of the photo." Nicely composed too.
What a great lens. Nice angle too. The basic editing rules prevent singling out the sky for noise reduction, and the sharpening artifacts are just slightly noticible on the upper bill. From the point of view of yellow, I like the light yellow of the the eye and the dark yellow of the band between the eyes. Was he in the alert position, almost completely vertical, that Egrets take when disturbed? A 10.
