May not have had the sparkles of traditional contre-joure, but does show the form of a subject illuminated by light that is behind the subject. I suppose I would classify this as a silhouette (solid, dark image of a subject against a brighter background) rather than a shadow (area of reduced light on a typically flat surface caused by an object blocking the light). Definitions aside, it was fun to capture this image. |
