A very clean image. Striking to look at with nice blended shadows. You also did a good job of getting the whole pencil in resonable focus. But what's the photo trying to say? 8 - floyd
It's an interesting shot, but I would have preferred more contrast with the background - although I'm not sure which colour would look good. Depth of field is ok - just a little blurry at the top of the pencil. Composition is good.
