The thing about pi, at least to me, is the fuzzy, indeterminate nature of the beast. And yet it's crucial in so many mathematical scenarios. This swirly, almost manic, circular plate, with its tree reflections and kind of overlaps, sums up my own sense of wonder and discontent. Served with a slice!
