Wow, what a comments! those have really made my morning for sure :) I tried to take an emotional shot for this challenge and yes that is me and have put on weight sitting at home :D
This low key image really captures the mental anguish of someone who finds himself in a deep hole. It must feel that the only way out is to go deeper. It's set up and captured beautifully. The upflung cards, nicely catching the light, are marvelous, putting emotion in motion. The man's expression is telling, and driving the entire scene.

and you know the expression throwing in the towel .. ie. to quit in defeat .. that's the feeling i get from this pic with the throwing of the cards .. and the man's expression ..
