I have to credit my wife for the title to this image. As I was contemplating different ideas she started playing this song and it stuck!
I had to go out for two photo shoots for this challenge. I first went out to a local nature park and took some great photos. After I was all finished processing the RAW files and ready to upload when I realized that this particular challenge followed the minimal editing ruleset.
So...on my second attempt I decided to drive around and look for flowers. As I prepped for my second adventure I made sure to add JPEG files to my camera, as well as adjust the shooting mode on the camera to capture a more vivid JPEG image. I drove around Northern Utah but couldn't find any flowers out in "the wild". I finally settled on a local gardening store for my shoot.
As far as in Lightroom, all I did was import the image and resize it to fit within the normal guidelines of 1200 pixels and 70kB or less. Hopefully the clarity, colors and composition are good enough to outweigh any flaws in the image.
Oh, I did also finally purchase some glycerin and a small spray bottle that I used to mist the flowers as I was shooting. I really like the way that turned out!
