A beautiful snowfall enticed the birds to come to my favorite tree and wait their turn at the bird feeder. I spent the morning enjoying their rituals and shooting a multitude of pictures. I spent an equal amount of time choosing which capture I liked the best. This was my favorite although there were a lot of close seconds.

Lovely composition and detail, except ... I would have dodged the eye to get more detail there and bring out the very faint catchlight. It would give the eye some depth and make the bird look more alive. Still a nice capture.
Gorgeous little bird and nice clean scene with diagonal branch. Colours and sharpness are great. The falling snow is a bonus. If this would have been an extended editing challenge, I would suggest to emphasise the highlight in the eye to give it a bit more life.
