Neat picture. The only thing I'd ask would be to give the subject a little more room to breathe. Let the edges fade into the snowstorm to give a sense of scale. Nice shot though.
there is something about this image .. even without the title .. that makes me feel a bit sad .. for the animals definitely ..

Nice image but needs a white balance correction (applying a levels correction in photoshop with the white eyedropper tools makes it much better in my view)
