Indeed, this was a found scene/object as I walked the beach one beautiful evening after a long hiatus while I seemed to have managed to overlook what a great spot I have nearby ... But such is life!
I loved how the lines from the receding tide reinforced the shape and the sense of resistance to movement, along with the "hanging on" represented by the layers of shells that built up over time.
