Random has so many different meanings anymore. I send photo postcards to family and friends regularly. One friend celebrates any she considers particularly "random". By that she means, "Who would take a picture of THAT?? . . . I LOVE it!" and the subject can be anything from someone's coat hanging on a hook in an office hallway to a broom in the corner of a porch. So to me laying these randomly collected objects out in such a way as to show each of them off does not destroy their randomness. Indeed, I've already printed this 4x6 and sent it to my friend as a postcard.

I love this and can relate to it. It's wonderful what a walk can offer up to the observant (particularly so with what it has presented to you.) This is the entry that stayed with me after voting so I've come to bump it up to top spot.
