There is a pond in my development that I walk by every morning while walking my Labradoodle. There is a variety of wild life that come and go but in the last week there has been a family of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks that I have been trying to capture. The problem is that an alligator also lives in this pond which makes the wildlife a little skittish. I try and have my camera with me each morning because there is usually some action going on. I love the way the ducklings are staying close to mom while headed for the reeds. This photo was taken around 8:30-9AM
