Meet Mikey, the tobacco hornworm.
This little guy may be small but his appetite is gigantic. He managed to eat a medium sized tomato all by himself in just a few hours. Mikey and his friends have managed to all but destroy my hydroponic tomato plants.

Get a black light flashlight. Check your plants with the light after dark. The critters literally glow lime green. Easy pesticide free way to deal with them. You can find them even when they are tiny. Can hardly miss them as they get larger. If you have chickens, they make a tasty treat for them.
