A last minute submission. Seven glass candle-holders placed on my wife's striped blouse (placed on a piece of plate-glass), backlit from below.
Post processing: desaturated, adjusted contrast and intensity, cropped, resized.
Although the picture was taken on November 30, the exposure date in my original file is December 1. The reason is that I have forgotten to adjust the clock in my camera back from the daylight saving time. I hope this does not really matter.

Oh, I get it now. When I saw the thumbnail, I was wondering how the artist did this. Great idea. Dazzling image. My teenage daughter just walked in and saw this image. Her response was, "Hey, cool. Did you do that?" Sadly, I had to admit I didn't. Most excellent! A 9, no doubt.
Very stark. Very ... mathmatical. I like the refractions and the way they manipulate the lines. There are some jpeg artifacts that distract a bit. At this size, not much to do. Maybe slightly smaller (say 600 instead of 640) would do the trick. Just a suggestion. Well done.
I just really love these kinds of images. You have done very well at executing and delivering an abstract picture that makes the viewer take the time to enjoy the pattern. Well done
yikes! this makes me dizzy just looking at it. i want to look away but i'm drawn back in. i love it when just looking at an image gives me a response like that. nice job.
