I don't like the forks' composition. I'd have preferred either something more regular (a circle perhaps) or more chaotic, with their heads looking into completely different directions. They blend with their own shadows (lower right). 4.
I like this. After looking long and hard at this, I think it will be my first 10. Very nice. focus and clarity are great, set up is very nice. angle and framing/cropping are great. lighting is what makes the photo though. I really think you did a wonderful job with this shot. I wish you luck in the challenge. ~Heather~
A respectable entry, although the light is a little uneven. Sepia was a good choice. The jumbled appearance might cost you, as the higher scoring utensil shots usually feature a clever arrangement.
Love the pattern, I think you should have through a spoon in there to brake up the pattern. Maybe if the shot was directly overhead, with a more colorfull b/g I like the lighting it fades from the lert to right nice.
