 Taken early evening on a stroll across Salisbury Plain. Poppies love the local soil and grow freely between the crops and along the verges. The lines in the petals reminded me of veins of blood. Not too much editing, a bit of a crop, some Nik Efex darken/lighten and a rogue cobweb cloned out. (105mm f/2.8 lens)
