During my visit to Vietnam in 2017 we traveled to the the Buffalo Market which was very close to the border of China. This is where buffalo are sold/traded. I was amazed at the age and gender of the sellers and buyers. Many of the women were actually carrying children at the same time as leading the buffalo. I captured this young girl in her native outfit on her cell phone. I was struck by the market and the modernization of the cell phone in the same photo.
