The image in this was my FS entry for about 5 days so am hoping this does 'OK' as a magazine cover.
So, I ventured out of my studio (aka spare bedroom) to the conservatory armed with my Ł3.99 torch, tripod and camera. The Butter maker churn thingy is riddled with woodworm and is very fragile so I moved it very carefully from the floor to a chest then adorned the scene with bits and bobs I found around the house. The texture is a slab of the stone floor in the kitchen.
I downloaded a magazine cover tutorial and ended up using just the frame (after changing the colour).

that yellow is a tad radioactive for butter. a slight adjustment would help a lot, plus it would pick up the lovely yellowishness of the photo. Currently it clashes. Layout is good, though.
