This shot is of a small section of the lid of an encrusted eye-shadow box, The segment shown is about 2" x 1 1/4". The individual stones and 'jewels' are tiny. The camera was on macro setting and only an inch or two away from the surface.

nice abstract image, looks like it would make a great texture on a photo, doesn't quite look like a macro to me but these items could be very small.
