Had many failed macro attempts this past 10 days so just went out and bought a box of matches today and lit them all while shooting away.
Got some good shots but non where all the elements came together at the same time. I started getting interested in the smoke early on in the 'burn' so ended up with more of a closeup than macro.
2 speedlights (left and right of the smoke) and 1 speedlight pointing at some board used for the background. All 3 flashlights were @1/128 and had home made modifiers on.
Matchstick was attached to some fuse wire type stuff using black duct tape.
