Sometimes nature does not cooperate with the image we have in our eyes. I think your intent and subject matter is interesting. I wish Mother Nature had given you a more interesting sky. Just my opinion but I wonder how it would look if you came back on another day when the water is more calm in front And there is a sharper reflection in the water. The break in the water around the island and the ripples in front breaks up the continuity for me. On the other hand you may like the texture and the grain created by the ripples. It’s just a matter of taste. Isn’t that what art is all about? |
