I always try to understand what the photographer was thinking when they compose and take a picture. At first I see a scene of dirt and brush, interesting clouds and your title which suggests a beach scene. Then I see the smokestack in the background and I wonder what its relevance is in your composition. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I’m imagining that you are making a statement about the environment, possibly the effects of global warming and man’s role in it all. Am I right? If that is the case I give you high marks for a very introspective and controversial creative composition. |
