This is sweet Lilly. She is one of my sister’s horses who changes the lives of special needs kids in her equestrian therapy program. I wish I could share some of the amazing stories of love and healing between the kids and these empathic, kind and loving animals! My heart always overflows when I walk up to them in their pens. They stop what they’re doing and walk right up to me. Because I love animals so much, and they feel it, they’ll snuggle up to me and lay their head on my shoulder while I hug and pet them. I always tell my sister that I could never own horses of my own because I’d want them to cuddle up with me on the couch at night. They’d have me so wrapped around their hooves that they’d forget they were great big horses!
I don’t know how this will do — if it’s artful enough — but it makes my heart flutter because I love this horse so much.

So so beautiful Sandy. The crop was just spot on. I knew this would do well as soon as I saw it. And what a beautiful story. I’m so glad that you can touch peoples hearts and change them for the best through these animals.
