This was my favorite image in the challenge. It's clever, subtle, interesting, tells a story, and has lovely blanched light, setting the time of day perfectly. This light (and flash?) washes out the yellow of the scooter, but that's how it works. The yellow in so many entries appears ratcheted up in "look at me" fashion. OK, it's a set-up shot, but it's done so very well. And what a fascinating shadow. |
