This was inspired by a story I read about a feral dog that saw an injured hummingbird covered in ants. The dog would not leave the hummingbird alone until the dogs owner saw him and nursed the hummingbird back to health. The hummingbird was free to leave but stayed with the dog that saved her.
Besides how can you go wrong with a story about a cute dog and a hummingbird. It’s kind of like ice cream with rainbow sprinkles!

FANTASTIC .. one of my ribbon choices .. just the stunning colours are making me reach for that book on the shelves .. then of course the dog's face and expression .. like an invitation .. the bird flying above him .. pointing to the title .. this is absolutely wonderful .. loving everything about it .. :)
