I took this a few days ago. I like the shot and, off the top of my head, could not think of anything better suited in the archives. Of course, I was too lazy or overwhelmed to actually dig into the archives and confirm that.
This is a shortcut of sorts. It is a not-well-known path to the beach we only discovered after living in the area for many years. For a couple weeks every year there is a period it is very lush, and then a few short days in which the wild flowers bloom. It is very pretty.

awwwwwwwwwww ... gotta love a photo with a dog in it .. but this is excellent .. love the path going off into the distance and your dog 'placed' just so .. really like his foot raised as he's coming up the steps .. this is marvelous . :)
