roz: Thanks for your comments. That's exactly how I saw the scene, thus the intent of the photo. Apparently, the voters saw it quite differently. I think it was rated at 24. Cheers!

i think its the way you have shown the layers of the rocks .. its like looking at a slice of our planet from a different vantage point ..
the shapes and patterns of the rocks and the colours are just wonderful ..
and of course the machine there ... almost lost in the image ..
