A complicated answer to a simple question. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. One cat eats a special diet so we have to feed them apart so they don’t eat each other’s food. One cat eats upstairs the other one eats in the basement on my pool table. Both cats have to eat off the floor otherwise the dogs will eat their food when we are not watching! The plastic is to protect my pool table cover! Meal times are always an event in my house!
