This has to be my signature photo of all time. I had no idea when I took this photo that it would take on a life of its own. It has been stolen and used without my permission more times than I can even keep track of, and one large advertising agency in Mexico had to pay a handsome sum for using it in an unflattering ad campaign. Every month, I get contacted about licensing it for some commercial reason or another, but I'm so protective of this woman, who gave me (and only me) permission to use her photo in my work! I always say no. I'm so thankful for my chance meeting of her, and the chance to have her the key feature of my "Storytelling Faces" series :)
