 This little guy was actually pulled out of a snake's mouth. His left eye and ears were damaged. I took him to our vet and she said congratulations, looks like you now have a house bunny. He has been the biggest joy since our grandkids. His name is Pockets from Bilbo Baggins' pockets.

Fine image, sentimental without being sappy. The title, too, melts the heart. And there's this greater sense of the stage of life, stark yet delicate, of curtains to the future being drawn open - as I choose to imagine it. The neutral sepia conveys an honesty of form and emotion.
Sorry if this seems vague, but it adds up to this being my personal favorite of the challenge.
