Thanks everyone for your votes and lovely comments.
I took this shot at the Aran Islands most famous cliffs. I was there to shoot a documentary and had a chance to fly (hard to believe, but it was a windless day). When I was above the ruins I loved the contrast between them and and the ocean.
For the first time I brought the family with me abroad while I was working and we spent great time in Ireland.

ONCE BY THE PACIFIC The shattered water made a misty din.
Great waves looked over others coming in,
And thought of doing something to the shore
That water never did to land before.
The clouds were low and hairy in the skies,
Like locks blown forward in the gleam of eyes.
You could not tell, and yet it looked as if
The shore was lucky in being backed by cliff,
The cliff in being backed by continent;
It looked as if a night of dark intent
Was coming, and not only a night, an age.
Someone had better be prepared for rage.
There would be more than ocean-water broken
Before God's last Put out the light was spoken.
I vote for Alex being a cheater ;) Well done sir. Jealous of you and this of course makes us mortals very nasty. Like you say - Loving the contrast between the two halves of the scene and just looking at it has me a bit dizzy.
Beautiful photo of Ireland from an angle you don't often see. I am going on holiday for 2 weeks to Ireland this August - one week in Kerry and one week in Connemara. I can't wait! Congrats on the blue!
