Panorama shot with my iPhone. I got carried away with the reflections in the puddle of water -- first time I've seen a puddle big enough to have reflections in a long time.
Even more enchanting than your previous image, "Figueroa Mountain Road", which I really liked. The panorama is lush and evocative, and it seems like you've stopped for a moment during a hike though a Chinese scroll. I understand your fascination with the puddle. It looks like a patch of ground fog, or a recently departed alchemist's cauldron. The blue sky glimpsed through an opening in the clouds is the sapphire in the tiara.
Just waiting to see some hobbits walking into the scene here. And when you're happy with a puddle of water it must have been a very dry period in your area :(
very nice Germaine .. loving the sweet colours and the puddle ..
btw .. you could make your own puddles .. not sure if you have water restrictions where you live .. hosing you could get some great reflections at home .. and then you could take a bottle of water with the express purpose of tossing the water on an area that you think might benefit from a photo with reflections .. just an idea . and one i've never thought of before .. ;)
