The jutting waterway that divides the land and the lowering sky, which somewhat echoes the choppiness of the water, make for a harmonious composition. This is just how I've imagined Netherlands, the flat countryside of Dutch landscape painters. How the windmills have evolved!
I'm glad you're finally sharing your countryside with us, in spite of the windy weather. This is a great view looking over the choppy water to the beyond. Excellent vantage point.
i hear you Hajeka .. i would feel the same .. i would be wishing for something dramatic and beautiful in the sky .. and that's just for starters .. !! .. you have successfully brought me into your world .. i think i need to go get on some warmer clothes .. :)
I love the little bridge in the picture. I like that you have a lovely countryside in the front of this and then way back the windmills and power lines.
