One image is of the plaza where the Bean sits (it’s behind Portrait). The was snowing pretty heavy at the time. For the other shot, a friend wanted a head-shot and in setting up for that, I had my wife step in for some lighting test shots. She would not be happy to learn I entered her.

this is so photographic. the huddled figure walking toward us, the eyes covered in shadow. there's something so photographic about the way shadows clump together to make forms. Somehow by creatively combining two exposures you just emphasize that more. This is like a dollar bill backed by the bank of old feelings.
