This is a great image! I love the color tones you've worked it up with. Nice composition, the eyes follow the train along quite naturally. Well done!

Beautiful image, Bob! I know..., 4th place is kinda like kissing your sister, but it's an accomplishment nonetheless. Congratulations!

Challenge link : OK, but this is really quite hi-tech in my view
Image critique : nice focus, composition - but editing marks visible in sky area and highlights are blown
Out-of-challenge appeal : minimal, but it's a nice train

fairly high tech, nice shot though

A very nice image, however, I question if so much iron emplied makes this a low tech. Regardless your image is stunning. 7

Very nice capture of a pefect subject. Very nice definition of the body of the locomotive -- rivits, pipes and all. It would be better if the sky wasn't blown out, IMO. A friend of mine owns a working antique steam locomotive. I have ridden in the cab on the foot plate. Fascinating experience I hope you can enjoy if you haven't already. Among my top picks.

I love this one, the only thing is the pink highlights, but that may be my monitor. 7
